Cellules, since 2001

An encounter, a rational, methodical and inspired dialogue: Cellules was founded by Emmanuel and Samuel in 2007.

Emmanuel and Samuel met in 2001 around an interactive documentary project on Benin' traditional music. "Sonorama": a DVD-ROM + audio CD that will be then sold at the Quai Branly museum and in bookstores. It was designed, filmed, edited, recorded and released by a team of passionate professionals.
In 2006, Samuel and Emmanuel get together to create "Cellules.org", lay-out of an interactive video magazine about the uses of digital technologies; the project is a finalist for the Lagardere award.

In 2007, Cellules is founded as a company. A legal structure to get bigger and more ambitious projects. It's also a way to affirm a process and create an identity. Since then, the studio produces sites and innovative multimedia projects.

In 2009 Digup.tv is launched by Cellules: it's a documentary webtv about digital design (www.digup.tv). Portraits, interviews, surveys... about  the various ways to create, using computer as a material. Films are shot around the world to create an audiovisual high quality and bilingual publication.

End of 2010, the studio moved into a new, larger and more beautiful location. The adventure continues ...
